Presentazione

Many navigators, visiting these web pages, will have wondered what this strange site was, different from all the others, full of colours and without any explanatory or presentation text. In truth, I am not very good at talking about myself and, honestly, I would have preferred someone else to have done it for me. So, without further ado, here I am finally going to write a short presentation.

My name is Carlo Daniele and I vas born in Naples (Italy) were live and paint since when I vas thirteen years hold by using oil technique passing from figurative to abstract without a well-defined subject, with now bright tones, as can be seen in the galleries of this site , now dark, almost black and white, as shown on the Homepage..

When I finishing the high school with subject in literature and humanities I attended for a while the study of Professor Carlo Verdecchia (Atri 1905-1984), he tough at the “Istituto d'Arte” of Naples and well-known in the simple panorama of Neapolitan painting.

In 1986 I participated in the“Premio Arte86” , organized by the magazine “Arte” published by “Giorgio Mondadori Editore”, a competition in which I was named among the top two hundred finalists out of 1905 participants in the award with a diploma of merit by a jury composed of Carlo Castellaneta, Raffaele Corvi, Raffaele De Grada, Mario De Micheli, Bruno Munari and, president of the jury, Algi Sassu.

On this site you will find neither special effects of high resolution graphics nor sound effects in 3D since it is not my intention to amaze anyone, this site of mine is meant to be just a big space painted by me as if it were a mural.
